Anonymous, 08 Nov 2023Bruh, the Exynos 1280 absolutely blows the Dimensity 700As I asked in another reaction in this article, have you used the A53 and A33 in parallel to the A14 5G? The first two run on the exynos 1280 hardware and the budget device has the Dimensity 700 chip. The benchmarks are indeed in favour of the exynos hardware but I can say that it does not do that at all in neither of the two first devices. Scrolling (although it has 90Hz refresh) is simply awfully laggy, same for opening apps and/or have many apps open at the same time. It sucks on the exynos units while the inferior (on paper) chip does it all fluently (not fast but smoothly). Only in certain usages you notice that this chip has it's limits while the other should have plenty left to run things but don't, even when not stressed.

Anonymous, 09 Nov 2023Imagine thinking that the Dimensity 700 is better than Exyn... moreWel it is. I don't know if you have ever used a device with this dreadful exynos unit. I have as do I have a device with the Dimensity 700 and it's a huge difference. On paper the exynos one wins but in real life it's a piece of shit, at least in combination with One UI. It might run better on stock android. The Dimensity 700 unit runs equally on a One UI device and outperforms the exynos on all fronts in real life usage, not on the bogus benchmarks that do not reflect real life usage at all. In short, if you make that remark, please also provide the experience you base your claim on. Have you used the A53 and A33? Have you used an A14 5G in parallel to the two exynos powered units?

Gundulpacul, 12 Nov 2023If we take a look at the chipset spec, we'll find out ... morethe kryo cores is also different. 465 vs 660.
720G puts out good photos and better video capability from its ISP compared to 695 which is average like low midrange phone.

you have to suffer, 08 Nov 2023they belong to android tablets. somehow i think about 695 ... moreIf we take a look at the chipset spec, we'll find out that SD619 is just similiar with 4g version of 720G but with slightly better GPU (Adreno 618 vs Adreno 619). With smaller fabrication, SD619 offers better efficiency. And it is made by TSMC.

Anonymous, 08 Nov 2023Because it's already used in A23 5GNoway, they used SD778 in their several line ups: A52S, M52, A73. They can, but they just wont do that. Maybe they got overstock exynos production..

Samsung good job. Thank you for Exynos 1280. We like Exynos cpu for future galaxy phones (Ex: A35 ). A54 is best model for 2023 with Exynos 1380. Keep it up. Welldone.

Gundulpacul, 08 Nov 2023Sam wont be that good man. Galaxy A25 is the new A33.. I don't understand this people call samsung

wit that chipset it's all but an improvement. This chip sucks so hard. It's the same one that was used in the A33 and A53 devices which were all but good. A chip such as the Mediatek D700 is much better compared to that one. No Samsung, not a good idea at all

Vikass17, 08 Nov 2023But GSMArena showed Samsung 25w and 45w charge at the same ... moreI agree. On charging tests, S23 Ultra with 45W charging, got to about 68% (5000 mAh), while the Mi 12S Ultra with 67W charging got to about 73% (4860 mAh) in 30 minutes. This means the S23 Ultra gained about 3400 mAh while the the Mi 12S Ultra gained about 3540 mAh.
Axon 40 Ultra did better with about 80% (5000 mAh) in the same time, but, S23 Ultra did better than expected, especially for the rated 45W. But an update to 65W would still be welcome. But imo anything north of 80W is unnecessary at this point.

why screen size varies so much? why cant they keep screen size compact 6.1", decent 6.5" and big 6.7" for factors?.

                            Whats up with 6.44? 6.32? 6.55? etc

How do they come up with such sizes?

James Holden, 08 Nov 2023lol samsung still milking their 25w charging. Seriously, wh... moreIts not a useful or meaningful feature for people buying at around 150 $. Most of them charge their phone once a day, because the most they use their phone for is watching youtube, or maybe they will play a game of subway surfers or something like that. They generally use it mainly for calls and whatsapp, and they are not heavy users , so, 50% in 30 minutes is more than enough for them. I would rather they invest that money on a better chipset/camera.

Fast charging is only meaningful for power users, and, apart from a very niche group of people, I think 65W-67W is plenty enough for most normal power users. According to me, a good time would be 50-55% in 15 minutes or about 75-80% in 30 minutes. Most people go to work within 20-30 minutes of waking up and almost no one normally wakes up to a dead phone, they generally have at least 10% remaining. If they plug it in as they wake up, by the time they are ready, they should have about 80-85% charge, which is plenty enough, especially if the battery performance is good.
On a more positive note, I hope that this means the next flagship series will get 65/67W charging across the board, or at least the Plus and Ultra, 45W for S24.

Boooring. No charger, earphones or case in the box and people still believes/fool themselves that Samsung is the best choice or value for money.

About the charging speed, no surprises. Samsung won't give more than that because they don't want to do nor even care.

15W official charger here in Brazil costs 1/10 of a minimum wage and 25W charger almost 3/10 of a minimum wage. It's much more profitable for them to sell everything separately while maintaining their high prices
