LG officially launches the Nexus 4 in India

I've been waiting for a long time to hear this news. Finally when it came, the news of pricing was quite shocking.
Online sellers like ebay was selling this product for 24K when the same was available in US for 18K.
Now the formal release of Nexus 4 in India costs 26K which is substantially higher comparing the original price of the device and the price for which the set is sold over ebay.
I would now consider buying a Galaxy S3 for slightly lesser price.

this will be worth the buy if price was bit lowered
if new nexus 5 comes out dont buy this
that obviously means companies are fooling indian markets

I believe the reason why they have launched the Nexus 4 so late in India is must be because of Samsung. Google shares good support from Samsung and considering their popularity in India they must have put pressure to not release their devices in India. If you remember Nexus S (manufactured by samsung) was in India pretty early but was not very popular back then.

People calling the Nexus 4 outdated obviously have no idea what they're talking out. This phone was launched sometime in Nov '12 in the US, and had supply issues till Feb '13.
It has a SUPERIOR processor compared to the S3, and FAR BETTER build quality (front and back made of glass, like the iPhone 4/4S). The build quality is arguably up there with HTC One. It also runs on stock Android, always getting the latest OS updates.
The only downside is the non-expandable 16 GB storage and mediocre (although not bad) camera.

In dubai the price for Nexus 4 is INR23500 for 16GB..why is INDIA INR26000 for 16GB.....best not to relase only this one if GOOGLE is not releasing this phone via play store..LG is not worried abt consumer thats y its nt a popular brand accross country.

No it is not commendable. They are out for profit and getting rid of excess stock: They price the Nexus less than the Optimus in all their markets. They are selling an outdated device at a profit making price point, AND hoping some people will get the Optimus due to the fact it is more "high end". They think Asians are dummies...when in fact the Asians who can afford such phones are better educated and more tech-savvy than westerners.

What do you know about Nexus devices? Im a proud user of N4. We buy Nexus devices for Latest OS, and straight from google. We dont care for ext storage or cam clarity or other asses! Dont talk shits! If you dont love android, you probably dont buy a Nexus device. Got that?!!! Step aside!
And about other phones! You heard of Krait Processors? Its the best processor available in the market right now (matches cortex A15). S3 is a waste. Dont go for it!

It is still a good device. Considering your budget.
People like me who have a lower budget and who like pure stock android would still get it. Not that old.

cons: Too late to launch... better phones available in market
its in India People prefer Nokia, Samsung and SONY as this brands give wattage to Indian market

It is outdated but its good sign to launch of forthcoming nexus in india as few people knew that next nexus will also from LG.
