It had lte. It had android. It had apps. Only thing missing in the camera, was normal phone. But you could still use messenger, Skype, wa and so on.

    So no, there's no excuse. And you can easily get a pocket camera for 300$ with 10x optical zoom. Not 3x as you claim that's all a pocket camera has.

They could easily put bigger sensor, with only 1 or 2 lenses. Instead of 3-5 lenses and tiny sensors. Digital boosts simply can't match the real thing.

                                If it's coming with 8mp ultrawide, it shouldn't be ranked as a flagship phone.

                                    dcdev, 08 Nov 2023I haven't heard about Realmi in photography before 🤔They were actually great with the GT2 Pro. The main camera has never been bad, but the GT2 Pro also shined in other areas. It had a 50MP ultrawide with a 150° FOV, which is a unique selling point imo, and also had a 3MP micro sensor with AF and 40× zoom. I don't understand why they replaced the competent and unique ultrawide with a tiny generic 1/4.0"-type 8MP ultrawide that only has a 112° FOV.

                                    Edit: Made some edits because apparently the ultrawide was 1/2.76"-type, likely the Samsung JN1 sensor, but they produced great pictures with it. Also, it had a micro sensor rather than a periscope.

                                      Fix the ultra wide sensor and then we can start talking
