I've had plenty of Android phones before. Of course some don't have cover for battery then you use buttons to reset, it's common sense.

Even in the hypothetical scenario when a Nexus device would completely freeze, you can _always_ keep the power button pressed to reset. It's hardware based and it will work. You don't battery pull.

I could point evidence to your other arguments, but clearly you never used a Nexus device, so I won't bother.

Funny thing is, iOS and Android probably have more social features than any Nokia phone currently. Did you check the new Hangouts app? Easy videoconferencing, chat, group chat, group messaging...

Windows Phone is not a bad system at all, but please let's not start stereotyping systems, as if stereotyping people wasn't bad enough already!

AnonD-31621, 18 May 2013no more? why does my S3 lags and hangs? If you bought your S3 thinking it wouldn't lag, you need to review your sources.

It's a *fact* that the S3 will lag, especially after installing many things, the same way that it's a fact that the iPhone 4S, for example, will take almost forever (compared to a Nexus 4 with even more pixels to drive) to finish rendering a web page if you don't stop moving a complex web page around. It's not fanboyism, it's not hate (I don't hate iOS products at all), but it's a fact. In fact, 2 hours ago I tested a brand new iPhone 4S and noticed this on the verge web site, with a Nexus 4 side by side. So, it's a fact.

Even the Nexus 4 will lag, but in my experience, you really have to pay attention to notice. And overall, load times are faster than, at least, iPhone 4S (I don't know the ip5 or the S4 enough to tell).

That's why I won't exchange my Nexus 4 for anything else. A very decent phone, very capable hardware and system, and Google is doing a great job.

              My (hopefully) informed opinion.

By the way, about WP... I still need to give it some time before I think about jumping ship. For now, I'm satisfied.

How about MS sell WP division to Nokia. I think WP will very soon challenge iOS for second position in the market.

MS could never make a good phone. Their bosses hardly understand what a phone is, even they don't know how to make a call. If they ever need to call someone they ask their secretary to do that.

Additionally let's not forget when you could not do a factory reset on them because there was a good chance it would break the phone completely. WP8, IoS and Android all have their issues. When you find perfection let me know.

                        Reported problems

The phone reboots randomly.[31] The "Portico" update was intended to fix these random reboot issues, but the issues remain after the update.[32]

Some users have complained that the battery drains too fast and the phone overheats.[33] Aloysius Low from CNET Asia did not notice such a fast rate of battery drain on other smartphones even with the same usage pattern.[34] After the Portico update the battery seems to be offering more power than before.[35]

Videos larger than 4GB get corrupted when transferred to the computer.[36]

Issues when pairing with various car bluetooth systems including BMW causing much consternation amongst drivers[37] The Portico update is expected to fix those issues.[35]

In good light the photos are disappointingly soft.[38] Nokia delivered an update to make the appropriate adjustments to correct the issue.[35]

The Portico update introduced a brightness bug, but there is a possible workaround.[39]

The latest firmware update from AT&T has created many connectivity issues.[40]

Dust sets under the front-facing camera and the proximity sensor, that could lead to dropped calls and prevent users from punching up phone-related menus. Nokia will fix this issue in new devices and repair current devices.

I agree with other comment. My next phone will be wp8, Android phone waste so much time. and it is really annoying when your phone lags. i have ICS. answering a call gets stuck. I have done all those flashing firmware here and there. but still, random lag happens. im a busy person. i dont want my time to waste learning those root or installing custom rom. In the first place the OS company should atleast made their OS smooth. but what happen is they leave to their consumer on how to deal with all those lags
