And now Mate 60 is the only smartphone with 2-way communication over satellite which iphone doesn't support.

If I'm planning to take a phone to middle of nowhere for an expedition or smth, I'm not going to bring my expensive flagship phone with me, I'll buy a cheap purpose built phone with sat com built in, along with military standard durability and a bunch of other useful features.

Fashions! People will never use any of that... Why don't they solve the problem of battery life in phones and make them get hotter and hotter...

If Apple never introduced satellite to iPhone 14, no one would have this feature. If Apple has a feature, others will cash in on it.
Take Dynamic Island for example. Realme C55 cashed in on the feature.
