Design Samsung good, last long, smart. I prefer Sony because no nonsense heavey fragile glass back and iron but Sony software bad and not really good at shooting without tweaking.
So yes Samsung still. Tried and returned maybe 20+ phones last year, not makes me expert but I know how chiatomi unreliable buggy spyi bloaty are.

So every Samsung phone except for the Ultra has the same back design. This is so stupid. Why do they like putting it on a piedstestal like that? S24 and S24+ are still flagship phones wtf.

It's very simple. Exynos = no sale. I don't care even if there is some 'amazing' collaboration with AMD graphics.
In fact, for the midrange A-series Galaxy phones, use a mid-tier Mediatek chip instead of Exynos. Exynos' cousin the Tensor chip already lives in Pixel phones, hence there is no need to continue with Exynos.

The only diference is in the s24-s24+, they move que flash more to the middle camera, as the a34-a54, all the phone are the same now.

No improvement that rumours can out compensate for the poorer SOC they will use in the S24 and S24+. Even with and LTPO panel the battery will last shorter. And even if they find ways to up the size of the S23 successor, the battery life will not be increased.
Every European who waits to pay the full price for the new S24 is just dumb when they can have an superior S23 with discounts now.

OF ALL the smartphone manufacturer's that have RETAINED their business, OWN their OWN brand and continue on this this VERY Day .... ONLY a few are left since 2001:
Samsung,
Sony,
ZTE,
LG ... probably the exception - unless they sold their phone division as well.
Can't say I know of any others that have survived the feature phone era:
Motorola ... caved now owned by Lenovo (which also started out buying IBM's hard drive business, then Lenovo brand entirely (A formerly USA company as well).
Nokia lost to Apple - it fully sold off their phone division - thanks to letting in a trojan horse of a CEO, formerly an executive at Microsoft.
RIM, then rebranded BlackBerry (internally) ... they caved as well and first sold their smartphone brand and as of last week begun splitting their QNX automotive business from their business security division and CEO Chen held on as long as possible and is just about, if not already resigned.
HTC, originally an OEM manufacturer for providers and other brands changed hands twice and is solely owned by Google.
Why do you think there has been so MANY Chinese smartphone brands that showed up like an angry mist out of nowhere some 12yrs ago or less?!
So yeah let a Fortune 500 company innovate and change their products EVERY single year to appease clueless few of consumers.
Literary no other business follows the model you want:
Pots, Kettles, Knives, Stoves, Fridges, Washers/Dryers, TV's and Monitors, Computers (especially laptops), Furniture, Cars!
