Zendroid, 17 Nov 2023As usual, the standard is a better buy for the same price. ... more"Lens "caps" easily fall off". Wow, really? Never read about it

You know what, I've noticed something funny.

    Samsung Galaxy S23, 3900 mAh

    10:23h Active User score.

Samsung Galaxy S23 FE, 4500 mAh

    8:55h Active user score.

It looks like if you take the last digit away you'll get the old endurance score. So S23 - 102h. S23FE - 85h. All perfectly in line with their respective models (S22 in S23FE case) endurance tests, huh.

As usual, the standard is a better buy for the same price. But I'll stick to s22 series because of the camera protection.! Newer models doesn't have cameras that are protected, at all! Lens "caps" easily fall off.

the normal s23, just with an ultrasonic fingerprint reader, is already a clear winner

S23 is space shuttle for s23fe.

S23FE should have been released back in the summer, so that its price would have already dropped already.

Not only that but in some regions it will be released once again with the inferior Exynos 2200.

Last but not least, the fact that the smaller s23 got better battery is embarassing for S23FE.

Actually they should stop naming these devices FE, they are nothing like what Fans really want, compared to the original S20FE back in the days.

Not even a comparison, it's so unfair. S23 FE is a joke among all phones, let alone next to the S23.

Pretty sure they went with the "S23 FE" name instead of "S22 FE" purely from a marketing perspective. Considering everything, this is hardly a "fan edition", let alone part of the S23 family...

Even with the current data the S23 FE is a no go, since the S22 series are cheaper now. To make it worse, with that price you can get a 2nd hand S22 Ultra which is FAR better than the S23 FE in literally all the points.

Make it a fair fight at least, lol

                        "Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 for Galaxy - it's a once Samsung-exclusive version"

So it's available for other manufacturers as well now?

Failure Edition is even worse than Pixel 7 and iphone 14.

This is gonna sound really weird, but is there a reason why Samsung moves the position of the flash lower down on their cheaper phones? Is it an ODM thing? I don't get it.

Or buy S21 FE or S22. Even if you need to save that much, get A54/A73.

8 gen 2 in S23 is way to strong for poor Exynos 2200 in S23 FE.
