Are people that desperate to use iMessage? If you can buy a Nothing phone surely you can buy an older iPhone and use iMessage without all this. Or use WhatsApp like the rest of us?

    They were so confident with this whole thing, now they’re probably gonna spin this in a way that’s like “we didn’t know, we were just trying to make tech fun again, this is what sometimes happens when you innovate. You gotta take risks, please trust us 🥺”

                    Nothing and it's so called cool CEO is pretending to renovate the whole phone industry by adding some useless LEDs in the back of the phone which no one looks at while using the phone! Huh.

                      In my opinion Nothing has achieved well nothing, but complete distrust with this.

                                The 12:
                                No 2x lossless zoom option
                                No macro mode (you may not use it but I do)
                                Inferior performance
                                much slower charging
                                inferior battery life
                                1 year less of updates (that may not matter to you but if you want to use the phone for 4 years the phone 2 is a better choice).
                                Less screen to body ratio.
                                To me it's like being in jail with iOS. Nothing OS is also kinda limited, but not to the extent where you feel like you're in jail. You can install APKs (didn't lag the phone), change launcher, etc.

                                All for the cost difference. Your choice and preference.

                                  Don't really GAF though. The app ain't available in Singapore yet

                                    Bascially it isn't encrypted, insecured chats than Google's RCS.

                                    "Nothing" is safe, "Nothing" is protected.

                                        Very badly thought out and a bad idea in general.

                                        I am sure they thought "so such thing as bad publicity" and decided to go ahead with it. Specifically they're trying to make their way into the US by forcing media coverage. Or they're trying to "strike a conversation" and make people talk about "important stuff" like "blue bubble vs green bubble".
