Still better than the SGS4. The non removable battery is a very minor niggle used by fanboys as 99% of people don't swap batteries constantly, and the lack of an SD card is easy to get around with cloud services and 32gb is pretty much standard.
The camera isn't groundbreaking, but takes good photos (the megapixel race really is over folks) and the build quality and stereo sound really gives this a premium feel.

Im glad they are not rushing new software updates as most are unstable. Let other devices release the, first, test them for few months then once updated further and tested release it on htc one.

People don't understand that an unstable software can make a person ditch their devices. Unfortunately, most users and forums goers are limited with their thinking.
I got my most recent update on ipad and i only installed it a month or 2 months later for reasons i mentioned above.
I made a mistake with ipads earlier update to 6.0 as i should have waited when they ditched google maps for their horrible maps. That moved itself perhaps made ios lose thousands of users. I regretted updating from 5.0 to 6.0.

HTC should start to focus more on WP and less on Android. Their history is terrible on Android. WP pieces were good except for Internal memory on 8S. If they show more support to WP as Nokia. They will get something stable. Or the best, bring out the support for a new OS like ubuntu or sailfish and give maximum efforts to it. No like WP where they gave half hearted efforts.

Why have GsmArena written on htc One's spec sheet that it is upgradeable on 4.2.2?

Take this news with a pinch of salt, as they say. The news is from a developer, who is providing his/her opinion. It's not fact. :(

And that's when lag will come. Unfortunately the Android 4.2.2 code is quite heavy on the system for whatever reason, or simply broken.

Htc should also concentrate on updating their previous flagships and other phones also cuz if they want to compete with Samsung they have to be good on their updates..... That's one thing in which Samsung is the best
