AnonD-111315, 19 May 2013you never used xperia z then. you can take picture, recordi... moreI know what you mean, but what I mean is that Xperia ZR is FULLY FUNCTION-ABLE UNDERWATER, unlike Xperia Z, you will need some "trick" to taking photo/video underwater.
And that is the difference between water--resistance and waterproof. And I believe this S4 Active may end up only a water-resistance phone like XZ.
But anyway, all of them are nice phone, tot I hate Samsung "forever-repeated-soap-bar" design. :D

Only fans like you and me come to this site and post comments and rate the phones. Do you believe rating given in gsmarena site is the scale for sales and satisfaction? I'm believe it is not. i already compare xperia z and samsung S4 indonesia spec, in terms of feature S4 win, but in terms of speed, no lag, both device result are equal.
so i believe benchmark result is nothing.

can't be used means you cannot touch everything until your phone off the water.
so i believe S4 can be used in the pool to capture and recording but you must set before go swiming

[deleted post]Not sure about this S4 Active, but the newly announced Xperia ZR is a waterproof smartphone and with a removeable 2300mAh battery + SDcard slot + same spec with Xperia Z.
Do take note that Xperia Z is a "water-resistance" smartphone but not "waterproof". Which means the Xperia Z CAN'T BE USED UNDERWATER (but it won't die underwater) while Xperia ZR can like taking shot/video underwater.
Anyway, it is nice to see Samsung announced a water-resistance/waterproof flagship. But personally, I rather to have a cooler phone than a waterproof phone, like the NEC smartphone with a water-cooler inside

Samsung at it again. Making permutation and combination and selling pieces with name of curent flag with last year specs making fool of customers. People see the name S4 and they will buy it with their eyes closed and Samsung is captilizing on it.

AnonD-76905, 18 May 2013now all Sammy fanboys should know what it takes to pack in ... moreYeah durable,because glass on the back won't break at all.And the reason samsung used an older CPU is probably because people who bought the 2 1st versions of the gs4 won't feel f*cked up.Also remember that the xperia z is bulkier than the gs4 by like 20%

Its amazing how Sony managed to include powerful specs inside a super slim durable phone...
Sammy, try making a waterproof phone as powerful (or even half as powerful as) and as beautiful as (oops, they simply can't) the Sony Xperia Z, HTC One...
