Also in that rumor was SD 7 Gen 3 as one of the options so for that to be in them then it be a downgrade.
But to be honest it would be a bit too early to see rumors about F series when it have been released in May or so. X series come earlier or at least with X5 it was something like February. But then again they can release the new series now 2 months earlier like they did with the xiaomi flagships.
