AnonD-96269, 20 May 2013Now, to all Nokia fanboys.. THIS could've been your Nokia's... moreSooooooo true bro. I hoped that they would change their mind and leave microsoft's (lame) os, but rather than stick to meego or develop a new os, they called on microsoft whose os has better success on pcs and tablets. Not so much on phones(boring). I hope this phone really succeeds cos I'm kind of tired the current ones. Please Jolla, use good power vr gpu or better with awesome ppi. Wish u super success.

AnonD-96269, 20 May 2013Now, to all Nokia fanboys.. THIS could've been your Nokia's... moreLol, half knowledge arrogant person. Meego wasn't fired. It was set free under Nokia Bridge Program. Nokia was and is short on cash to carry a full development of an entirely new OS. So WP was choosen because it would be MS who would spend on developing OS while Nokia concerntrated on the hardware. Nokia made a genius plan to let Jolla and develop on its own like a kick starter. If Nokia really wanted to kill it. They would have really killed it with no one getting the rights to develop meego further. So thank Nokia that meego is alive and is seeing this day under the name of Jolla and Sailfish.

Samsung makes some decent stuff but all of their phones look exactly the same in different sizes - the GS3, S4, Note, Note2, Mega, Grand...

...and all of them look as ugly as sh*t.

I like it from the looks of it.
I don't like that you can pre-order, or better become a shareholder, for something you know nothing about.

For me the Jolla phone wouldn't have to have a fullHD screen, top of the range processor and all that "I have a little one so need compensation" specs.
It must have a HD ready screen (for the size of the 4.5"), I must be able to read stuf in full sunlight (I hate my HTC ONE X for this), it must have 2 Gig of memory to run app's (my HTC starts lagging now) and operating the thing should be a breeze. No deepdiving in menu's to get things done please :-).

If the above would be tested (drop one at GSMArena) and the specs confirmed I would certainly pre-order one. Euro 399 isn't to bad for a refreshing new phone in my mind.

Now, to all Nokia fanboys.. THIS could've been your Nokia's OS a year ago..if they hadn't fired out their own software team(Jolla staff are mostly EX NOKIA EMPLOYEES) in favor of Microsoft's corporate money showel down their throats.

                              Getting it, finally?
I'm sure you are not, and will continue cheering for those Lumias and WP..but I hope the karma catches up this time too, and brings Nokia what they deserve.

                              GO JOLLA
