It's becoming closer to 4-6 years similar to video game consoles from the 80s, 90s, and 00s. And with Google's promise of 7 years of software updates, it could end up every 7-8 years for casuals. They're the demographic that doesn't visit sites like this.

                Rounded sides is always a plus l. I dislike squared off designs. It basically looks like my Xiaomi Mi 3 from 2013 which Sony copied with their 2016 Xperia XZ line.

                        Well i wait from years...please add the fingerprint in the power button, bring back the infrared port, micro sd slot, radio fm , and yes the flat screen!!!
                        Also i wonder why nobody bring back the xenon flashlight like the old Nokia N82 , had and was doing amazing pictures...it is much way better than led flashlight!!!
                        Also you should let a chance to the users who loves to be able to change the batteries easy like in the old times...not all preffer waterproof instead!

They try to mimic iPhone but true is that each year phones are getting more experience and by almost no changes to them companies are making huge profit.... I don't think its worth to invest more then 1k $ in phone 3 years old ...
