It is deserved. On the other hand, their teasing was catastrophic: they started talking about periscopic zoom at the end of September and still no presentation of the Realme GT5 Pro and even less the 12 Pro series...

If it wasn't for the number series and the more affordable priced Narzo series, this wouldn't have been achieved. Look how terribly priced their C series are.

with 16GB ram and headphone jack and for it to cost less than 500 dollars

congratulations to Realme, low end phones are getting crazier now, even mid range... I'll just take the Narzo 60x as an example which has 5G, 128GB base storage with UFS support, 400K AnTuTu, 120Hz and 33W charging with free tons of stuff in the box for $150 bucks that's a very good deal. In the past you can get a phone with these specifications for $300 and above.

Numbers were supposed to be way higher.

Just proves that Apple could easily shut down all chinese brands by making low end iphone, something simple like Motorola E series. Low end iphone would easily sell 100 million units just in India.

I'm surprised how popular their low end models are, despite being so crappy. Realme started fine a while back, but now they're basically the same as Oppo, with overpriced products at launch prices. They're only decent once their prices drop after a few months. And I don't understand why Realme is allergic to IP rating. Even Oppo and Vivo start to equip IP54 as standard to most of their mid rangers and up.
