And another issue I have, is that I send them RCS messages but I always receive normal SMS. Their phone supports RCS because I'm getting the read receipts. It's kinda annoying seeing your message feed constantly telling you RCS Conversation then SMS Conversation going back and forth.

        I recently stopped using RCS in Messages and replaced the app altogether with QKSMS.
        Why? Because Google's RCS has one MASSIVE issue: it does not fallback to sms if RCS is unavailable. Even with the setting enabled. It simply does NOT send the meesage and it just sits there on your phone. After many hours you wonder why you've not had a reply, only to see that Google never sent the message. Either you never had data or the receiver never had their data on, or don't even use RCS.

        Either way you CANNOT rely on Messages to send the message over SMS. I've experienced this several times and have reported it several times, but they don't fix it.

        So now my wife and I use sms only becauase it's super reliable every time. I can't see us ever using Google's RCS ever again because I could never trust it now.

        In any case if I want to send someone a message over data, WhatsApp is the best way and they ALWAYS get it.

                    Other types of displays (LCD) needs Local Dimming Zones to mimic near OLED level of HDR quality but still there will be some kind of blooming. Best implementation is in Apple's iPad Pro 12 inch and MacBook Pro 14 and 16 inch models.

                      idc about hdr, when i turn it on my monitor colors get washed out. i prefer no hdr because of that.
