It was the note 12 turbo that became the poco F6 and the Redmi k60 was the Poco F5 pro. I think it'll likely be the same the K70 will likely be the Poco F6 pro and the Redmi note 13 turbo which will be released later will likely be the Poco F6

Eric20, 27 Nov 2023Yeah, the camera island is really ugly. Why? Why? 😒Why people are saying that the rear camera island is ugly?!? Looks rather cool! I like it a lot better than oppo, one plus or especially super ugly motorolas.. Hope they release poco f6 soon!🤩

Seems like the vanilla version will be the one to become Poco F6 Pro, while the E becomes the F6.

Not sure why camera island designs are getting worse year over year. It’s like there’s a race on who can make theirs the ugliest.

This is probably the only design in the Redmi series where I find it not as good as it seems. Reminds me of the Poco M series.

I hope the Non Pro version will soon come to global market as poco f6 with SD 8 gen 2 😍

"2x portrait cam and 2MP AI cam"
Bunch of marketing names and big holes for some low quality useless macro/deph cameras. Cool 😂😂😂

Zuzuz, 27 Nov 2023Rumors say that Pro will have a peak brightness of 4000 nits.Yes, that's correct but look at the reality for the effective brightness. The manual brightness they are claiming around 700 nits. That's good though for a Xiaomi/Redmi phone as their flagships last year had relatively poor manual brightness compared to other flagships despite high peak brightness. Don't think they announced the max auto brightness but it's probably going to be around the 1300-1,500 mark. The peak brightness is basically meaningless. It's the manual brightness and max auto brightness that are more relevant for users

Look at all these people obsessing about the ugly camera island. No one will notice or have time to cringe at your ugly phone because everyone else is glued on their own phone's screens lmao.

The Redmi K70 Pro will be the first Android device to train the 6.x kernel and the vast majority of devices are stuck on version 4.14/4.19.

So the K70 and K70 Pro are the Poco F6 and F6 pro respectively?

Pretty neat in that case, though I expect a price increase considering the 8gen2

HyperionBurn, 27 Nov 2023why do we even need such bright displays? 2600 nits in clea... moreThat's fair. I just said so because 12-bit colour is actually properly noticeable at around 3000-4000 nits. Of course, I have no idea if it makes any sense to even attempt that, considering the fact that I have no idea about how big the hit in power and thermal efficiency would be, and I've never seen 12-bit colour compared to 10-bit colour displayed side by side.

That also means that when MicroLED appears on phones probably within the next decade, we could have even higher peak brightness than that, or maybe instead have stable brightness levels much closer to peak ones.
