No object is deep black... moreOk then lets put it this way, LCDs display Black color as gray and OLEDs display them as black.
The professional monitors are moving to OLED or MicroLED. Before OLED was not as cheap to put on monitors. Now is getting more common but still being expensive (not as much as i would have costed years ago tho)

" OLED screens are known to consume less power when displaying darker images as each pixel is individually lit and can be turned off completely for black areas, thus saving energy. However, when displaying bright or white images, OLEDs can consume more power than LCDs"

No object is deep black. Oled makes black stuff darker that it is.
Colour accuracy has nothing to do with type of screen. Have you seen those pro monitors used by photographers made by Dell, Apple, LG, Benq and Asus? They are LCD.

GAMIR3DH, 29 Nov 2023The benefits outweight the downsides. Thats whyBenefits: being thinner than LCD, use less power when displays black images.
Downsides: far shorter lifespam, able to be curved, green tint at lower brightness, pink/green lines, burn-in, uses 2x more power when displays white images, far lower flickering frequencies (LCD has easily 10x more. And yes, those chinese phones that claim over 1000Hz have less than 240Hz according to notebookcheck tests), more expensive to make, more expensive to replace.
