Me and notafanboy aren't playing anything, we don't even know each other personally.

"I just wanted to show you what SEVEN people response was."

I saw it already, and so what? I'm not gonna cry about it, that's my opinion, and for me it's true, people disagreed with it, and that's fine, it happens, we aren't all the same. Thankfully.

Why are you scared of commenting with your actual name @I Just Read?

Your comments are still nothing but gibberish and spam, but keep it up I guess, if you enjoy it.

It borders on arrogance that you have NO knowledge of the browser, you have provided no evidence whatsoever to support your uniformed comments.

it is also apparent that Darling Yext user account and notafanboy - user account are playing tag upvoting each other and down voting in concert genuine comments is that even within the rules?
Nearly 5000 post and the only way, 800 since you targeted me you were on 4200 and now it is plain that you have a quid pro quo arrangement

I have tried FOUR web browsers Chrome has to stay as I have come across ONE site that doesn't support Samsung Internet or Firebox Mobile, (Firefox BROWSER YES?) just one site!

Edge is good however deleting browser history is a phone only option, for some unknown reason it is BACKED up in your Outlook a/c. logon to mainframe to delete

Samsung Internet (SI) has a Privacy option you have to LOGIN into to open it, if you multitask away, you have to login again. Private is just not sitting there
SI can save bookmarks that are ONLY saved in Private,
SI has an inbuilt ad blocker also Sync bookmarks across devices I have two phone update on one updates both
SI you can move bookmarks, bookmarks appear to be save in date order. After saving a new one I reposition into alpha, ALL my bookmarks are in Alpha order

Firefox appears to have everything SI has, BUT saving a bookmark in private NO! Bookmark saved in date order

(On SI I don't have my ANDROID banking app, expressly for that purpose, the bookmark is saved in Privacy. Even my bank name is not shown on home pages

For me I have TRIED 4, now Chrome and Edge may indeed have many of the SI features. the two I use are SI and Firefox. It's really to see if you like or dislike it download it go to settings and see the list of features offered, no like UNINSTALL

    This should read
I'm already unnecessary and useless on mobile devices. What's the point of a Windows version? we concur

I used to have the Galaxy S20 ultra used the Samsung browser for almost 2 years and overall liked it until I realized Samsung is slow to update their browser to the newest chromium version. They sometimes took 2 or 3 months to release an update. Considering the Samsung browser is based on chromium and how often vulnerabilities is discovered in chromium this isn't good for the users security. I don't have any confidence Samsung is going to be any better at this on the windows version either.

Samsung could have easily do the same regarding Chrome Web Extension to Android. You don't have to go far to see how many people on r/SamsungDeX use DeX as their only primary computer.

But why? And who will give a s when firefox, edge and others are already available? Waste of time and money.

Anonymous, 30 Nov 2023Looks just like Chrome. I'll stick to Vivaldi, by far ... moreIn terms of features, Vivaldi is probably the best. Problem is, it's extremely unstable. I swapped to it twice now, and twice did I drop it (probably used it for a total of 1.5 years). It's great when it works, but it really starts to glitch out the longer you use it, especially when you use tab stacking (which was the main reason I used it, but other browsers have good enough tab grouping these days). In terms of privacy tests, it's actually doing pretty bad as well, which was the final straw for me to look for alternatives. See privacytests.org

In search for a better browser, I just swapped around a bunch and ended up with Brave due to the best compromise between all features, security and privacy. But really, Opera? 0odle-noodle, 30 Nov 2023If you'd open up your mind, you'd come to realize... morethe problem is, its adblocker no longer functions. can be fixed by updating the app every single month. which can make the app so much heavier. especially whose phones that are with 32 or 64gb of storage. can't even zoom in or out the webpage size which makes elements and text smaller or larger. have to tinker with DPI setting via developer settings to get desired text and element size i wanted. which something that samsung internet have and does not need to tinker with DPI setting or smallest width. i would still use brave if they have the webpage zoom function. i don't want large af text. i'm not some 50+ year old.

I'd rather use a product from companies that I can actually trust to not mess up the code and leave me open to huge security issues. Samsung can't even secure their phones, why would I trust their browser? But the average Joe has absolutely no concept of security in the first place, so all they consider is the features they see, then blame whatever comes to mind when they're suddenly losing data or accounts.
