Anonymous, 02 Dec 2023Looks better and improved compared to iqoo 11, better sharp... morei believe, grain is utterly normal on digital photos and represents actuall structure of matrix pixels. Only when noise reduction steps in, it would smear and reduce natural grain , all the way with details alltogether.

Would you have used pro dslr cameras and particularly shooting raw, you would come over it , and see that it's actually normal and very true character of image.

How long the brand sends updates for this one? if it's at least 3 years and 500/600€ i might buy one, ive heard they gonna release this one internacionally.

If only the iQOO phones were released on the EU and the Philippines, I would totally buy it, and those pics look really great, including the portraits

Well bet there wont be much phones with better cameras.
And i dont expect better photos from major brands.

It has a astonishing telephoto lenses and a main camera with great detail, I realy appreciate this. This means that it'll do a good job in daily capturing. However, it's jn1 sensor is not as good as the others, though, 50mp mood do help improve detail(only for daytime)

Details from the buildings pop out which is nice but people's faces looks washed out and cartoonish, not a good look

Iquoo really upping their game from last generation.

Seeing my city's beautiful sightings, on an international website like GSMA, its a beautiful feeling...

Main and ultrawide camera is little disappointing but the telephoto camera is impressive.

Flagship quality camera, it's just crazy that people prefer the average iPhone 15 over this cheaper one.

The rear camera hardware is impressive this time. Same main sensor and ultrawide sensor as the Xiaomi 14 series but a much much better zoom camera than the Xiaomi 14 series. It's impressive that they gave the same camera setup to the regular model as the pro model. Tried it out a bit myself. The portraits are great. Vivo is basically known for having very good portraits in China though so this is to be expected. I wasn't too impressed by the indoor video though which seemed a bit noisy at least on the phone screen. I think IQOO is doint pretty well for the photos. The telephoto photos are really surprisingly good up to 10x zoom and much better than last year's Vivo x90 pro+ even. I'd like to see them improve the video quality a bit more though.

Anonymous, 01 Dec 2023If detail was there, then sharpening would not be. You're making no sense at all.

During the day, 1x shots look a bit too sharpened for my taste but otherwise, they do an amazing job at capturing the details. Surprisingly enough, while 2x digital crop shots do look slightly more detailed at 100%, 1x is already so detailed that 2x only has an advantage in handling the moire and texts on distant objects.. The 3x shots look fine in the centre, but the lens seems quite soft in the corners. 10x looks pretty amazing for not having a dedicated 10x telephoto camera to begin with.

The macro mode is puzzling - Is it cropping in slightly and is that why it only outputs 12.5MP? Also the weirdest part of this mode is that the software background blur seems to be force-applied to every image, so some of the edges look inconsistently hazy and blurred inaccurately. Given the sensor size and the relatively large aperture, it should be able to get some decent background blur without aid from software, so this is straight-up bizarre.

This phone's portrait mode is probably the best I've ever seen from any phone camera. It's literally capable of separating a single string of hair from the background, and it's borderline impossible for me to tell that this is a software blur without thoroughly inspecting every single edge at 100% magnification to find a flaw. It honestly looks extremely impressive, so well done, Vivo.

It seems to perform decently in low light but I've definitely seen better ones (OnePlus Open, Vivo X90 Pro, Xiaomi 13 Ultra, Find X6 Pro etc) out there, and as always Vivo goes too hard on sharpening at night as usual which I'm not a fan of.

                                    Pretty nice 🙂👍
