Look at the starting temperature of that run - 0 degrees celcius.. basically a very unrealistic scenario

Anonymous, 30 Nov 2023So pathetic. Only chinese brands do something ridiculous... moreSo you want the boring pre-announcement teasers of the other brands. LMFAO

Anonymous, 30 Nov 2023Posting antutu score on social media or showing it during p... moreWhy would it be pathetic to showcase the power and performance their upcoming phone will have? I see nothing wrong with it, like at all. You could also say it is a marketing strategy; the bigger the score, the bigger the sales, since the average buyer will always look for the best specs a.k.a the biggest numbers when buying a phone

Artem S. Tashkinov, 30 Nov 2023I use my phone under the shower daily, don't you? J... moreJust to be clear, they're not trying to show how water resistant the phone will be, but how well the screen will work, even when it is constantly wet or underwater. Unlike the iPhone 15 besides it, where you can see that the screen isn't as responsive and has problems detecting your touch on the screen when wet, the OnePlus 12 works just fine.

Artem S. Tashkinov, 30 Nov 2023I use my phone under the shower daily, don't you? J... moreIt's not ridiculous. OP is trying to convey a message that their phone performs better in wet conditions than iPhone.

"In related news, OnePlus also confirmed wireless charging support for the OnePlus 12 and shared a water jet test simulating rain where the OnePlus 12's new screen shows improved touch controls compared to an iPhone 15 Pro. OnePlus 12 still won't feature IP68 certification though."

First time? They advertised the same thing with Ace 2 Pro, while not having IP68.

Artem S. Tashkinov, 30 Nov 2023I use my phone under the shower daily, don't you? J... moreYou'd be suprised, as long as its fresh water you could leave a phone in water and it'll be fine (also tests been done on phones without ip ratings, left them in bowls of water for hours and not a single problem, still fully useable).

I think its just a nice comfort knowing as long as you're not wreckless water shouldnt ever be a problem.

I use my phone under the shower daily, don't you?

Jokes aside this ad is ridiculous. IP protection works only so much.

It only won because of the memory and Ux (user experience) but the gpu still on vivo x100/pro

This will undoubtedly be my next phone in 2024, of course, if the s24 ultra disappoints me

the version with 24gb of ram and 1 tera safe storage will stay in china

Its GPU alone scored higher than my phones entire SoC 😭😭
