                                This phone s good at its price point for 249 euros and will cost maybe 150 after a year or so and will be a great phone for 150.
                                For many people which arent tech geeks and does not need to run heavy games on it will work flawlessly.

Noone not even me said you have to keep this phone for 5 years. Like i said before 2 years of use sell it and get something new with simmilar pricetag or so.

                                  Redmi 12 waqs good example but US dollars and Euros is litterary same. 250 dollars is 230 euros which aint big difference. Like 250 eur is 271 dollars.

                                  Lastly o samsung phone charges 35W like this Honor even no samsung. Even said 45W in ultra models barely hits 22W real tests proven that.

                                      You are contradicting yourself when you say that the A54 would hold no value in 4-5 years due to the slow chipset (which is true), BUT what you failed to mention is that the Snapdragon 680 inside of the Honor X7b is more than two times slower than the Exynos 1380 inside of the A54.

                                      The Snapdragon 680 is bad TODAY, not to mention how bad it would be in 2 years, let alone 4-5 years.

                                      Also a correction on point 3:

                                      The Redmi Note 12 5G, a great example of a phone under 250 Euros, has a 120Hz screen, but what really sets it apart from the Honor X7b is that the Redmi's screen is an AMOLED screen instead of an LCD.

                                      Also, you forgot to take one huge thing into account. We are talking about $250 (as in US Dollars) here, not 250 Euros.

                                      All of a sudden, phones like the Redmi Note 12 Pro 5G, Galaxy A34, and even some cheaper variants of the A54 come into the picture. These are all phones that have 120Hz AMOLED screens, chipsets that are twice as fast as the SD680, better all-rounder or straight up just plain better cameras, much faster charging, better display protection etc.

                                      What Honor is trying to do here is to essentially rebrand the nearly two year old Huawei Nova 9 SE, just with a bigger battery and slower charging. You can compare the specs of these two phones to see what I mean. They are basically identical, aside from the battery and charging.

                                      At a price of $250, that is just unacceptable.

                                        People can buy even 3-4 years old phones acting like a brand new. For Example Iphones 11 or 12 are still available to sale in some markets sealed box.
                                        Many else phones too A52 for example or Redmi note 11 pro and Pro plus.
