Not only you can disable pretty much every unneeded app nowadays, phone itself even does that for you automatically. I'm still using S10 and it's as fast as the day I bought it. Problem is, battery life isn't what it used to be, but that's normal after so many charge cycles. As for performance, phone didn't slow down at all.

Would love to see a metal frame again on an A series device. I think the A71 5G which wasn't sold everywhere was the last one. The A6 and A6+ where the last one available in Belgium but that one was a unibody aluminium design (which was great).

If you have to look at the phones up close to tell the difference then there is a big problem. I'm not saying A series phones should not have a clean design, I'm saying they should have a different design or something that makes them CLEARLY VISUALLY distinguishable from the S series not look the exact same or alike. They did it before, before the S23 series. A series phones still looked very pleasing and looked different than the S series.

That is the literally the only thing t... moreit's not disastrous the fact even lower end get a minimalist clean design and actually while they may look alike, material and such in person/up close actually shows a big difference between low end, mid and high end, how they are put together at the seams, again the materials, camera bumps, glass, the compactness, it's all more premium when u hold and look at the s line vs the a line, so it's not just the bezels and innards, but yeah why have a gripe that at least even those who can't afford the top get something at least in line with a more visually pleasing design, what an odd think to fuss about

I have an A51 and was thinking of buying the A55 when it arrives. After ot arrives in stores, I am going to hold my A51 phone and the A55 phones side by side and see if there are any meaningfully visual differences. (Granted this is still a pin-hole display phone but since it isn't a flagship it is all right IMO). By meaningful visual differences between A51 and A55 I mean thinner bezels esp the bottom bezel and the pin-hole placed more upward.
If the A55 will have these differences I will buy it otherwise i will stick to the A51. A54 didn't have these differences so I skipped buying it.

That is the literally the only thing that diffrentiates A series from S series design wise(if you don't count the screen bezels). S series users should to be proud for what they pay. It is actually disastrous a 200$ phone looks like a 1000$ phone.

I hope base S24 has bad sales. Them making all their phones look alike apart from the Ultra and base S24 being almost no different than S23 will kill it. Atleast S24+ has a fair number of upgrades. Their midrangers are better than ever and base S24 has so many cuts it does not fill like a true flagship for the price. Hopefully this will make them draw a clear line between flagship and midrange which has became blurrier and blurrier.
