Just like apple that dont need to make much changes cause they have solid fan base who buy what ever the brands set out.

I see a lot of other phones that are either cheaper or same price but already have way better specs with even 1220p screens and no bezels as large as this one. Also have 3.5mm jack too and fast chargers that are actually fast and charger in box too with even a case in a box for people who want one that is still a choice to use it.

By looking how new chips come out in a range of 1 million points up to 1.5 million points in middle class then this Exynos 1480 is in a range of top end budget chip with that around 600k Antutu v10 score. While flagship is already over 2M so end of next year maybe these already get to 3M points.

    Exynos 1480 and A55 are not linked, it's just a coincidence in time and a connection made.
    The reasons I disagree is Real World and not happening in a vacuum

    Briefly SoC price war is starting or has started, there are new dynamics in place. I have just read the long term review for the A54 which uses the Exynos 1380 this is a 5nm process true or not Samsung used its own to reduce cost

    Both A54 and A53 are 5nm the A52s is 6nm

    It is more likely I alone (nobody else is typing this at my location nw}) think if Samsung opts for its own this will be the Exynos 2100, (S21 FE and S21 Ultra)

    Just on the Fan Editions the S23 FE is the last, there is absolutely no other reason to place the camera flash positionally the same as the A range, previous FE flash placement was flagship. Rationalisation to Flagship and A range only

    The A34 upgrade A35? would also go from 6nm to 5nm

    Then there is the A range, upgrades are not happening in isolation. E.g the A14 5G 5nm Exynos 1330 50+2+2 camera setup is also approaching upgrade. There is a delineation and Samsung would already have provisional spec assigned for the A56

    A55 will use Exynos 2100, not 1480 and as not set in stone if there is a cut throat price war.

I would say maybe flagship materials at most. I dont think much will change in build quality when the frame material is different. Also glass back is something you can see even on budget phones these days so i dont see it as flagship material or anything

            Beautiful design. Just not a fan of that slight bump by the volume rockers. Still happy with my A54 though. Will see what the A56 has to offer

                  Price what 50k INR in India maybe for a 50 series phone?...the last true good a50 series was A52/A52s back in 2021

                    Like i said it million times before.
                    Very boring design where one cannot tell whether is A04, A14, A54 or S23. I see exactly same thing on a first sight.
                    This is a real garbage.
                    Miss good old times where J series were different, A series were different and S series were different too.
                    Past S10 lite, M30s and A8s all phones looks exactly same from outside.
                    There is no other as boring brand as Samsung only Apple and Google is close by. But they dont make as much units as Samsung.

                      by the time the a55 releases at 500USD, the S23FE will be even cheaper
                      so what's the point of the A55 then?

                        Good looking, in the last 4 years there was rarely ugly Samsung phones, especially ones that are $300+

                          Samsung copy another design and this time from apple ofc...

                            Beautiful phone indeed.

                            Phone with metal frame + long software support is the recipe to make a successful phone sales.

                            I have seen many people still using either old Samsung phone with metal frame or old iPhone. Never seen any old chinese phone in usage, because its low build quality and short software support.

                            Cant wait to pre-order this phone.

                                This Galaxy A55 will be my next phone for sure.

                                People like you are the reason why people buy Galaxy A series, including myself.

                                Galaxy A54 sold 10 million units in 3 months. Galaxy A55 with those metal frame and more symmetrical bezel will reach 10 millions spot faster for sure.

                                I hope you dont stop promoting Samsung/Exynos brand, keep doing your hard work 👍
