So for us europeans users will be 899 euro, because of vat creap.

For anyone waiting for this phone, please be aware that apparently this model (along with prvious models with the same camera deco shape) currently has some pretty obvious build quality "issues". That is, there is a visible gap between the camera island and the middle frame/back plate. This is especially visible for black and green models. For white models, they have put glues in the gap so the gap isn't as visible. However, there have been multiple reports of white models having the glue leaked out from the gap and being visible from the outside (and sometimes even attracting/adhering other objects such as hair and small insects). This most likely won't be an issue if you put a case on the phone immediately after getting it out of the box. However, if you plan to rock it unprotected AND you expect everything on the shell is sealed, then you probably won't have a good time with it.

I don't know about Xiaomi after Hyper OS launch globally. It has been said that, unlocking bootloader is not allowed after Hyper OS launch. Let's see. That leaves us with only two options. Developers has left One Plus phones in dust in terms of development after One Plus 9 Pro. That's the last phone which has some kind of development. Nothing much after that. So forget that as well. Get Pixel if you want to be in custom rom. Nothing needs to be priced really aggressively for their upcoming phones if they want to be successful globally. Their Phone 2 is below par as compared to value proposition.

Chinese OP12 supports band 20 in EU, so you can buy it. Also, you can add little money and get Oppo Find X6 Pro . A far better value for money.

It sounds good on paper but most people won't see more than a sprinkle from their faucets. Plus there are water proof cases. I think you'll be fine with IP65

The reported build quality issues are disappointing. Why is quality control so bad these days?! Hope it’s just the first batch that were rushed out for launch. I might consider it if the OS isn’t terrible.
