A new comprehensive report has been released on the state of foldables - past as well as future (estimated) sales numbers.

I hope Steve Jobs was still alive today and hoping that he is the one leading Apple. With Steve Jobs, Apple became an innovative and technological company every other country was jealous for, Huawei even copied them due to their very good phone and designs. But when Steve died, things went worse for his company, his company was now ruled by accountants, just like every other US company like Boeing, instead of engineers trying to develop cutting edge features for Apple, accountants restrict them for money. The US government even banned Huawei because of how strong Huawei is and trying to innovate their own, Apple even copied Huawei's capsule notch design and named it Apple Dynamic and claimed it to be new and their own which is BS. Apple is the best joke company and many Apple fans are so disgusted that Android phone companies are very innovative because their is not, Apple just slap a new type C which android phones use for a decade and a new overheating processor and call it all new and slap a 500 dollar priced increase from the previous gen Iphone 14, that is just pure joke and I am just shock how people accepted that removing the charger from the phone is a good thing, what the F? Can you call it a phone when it does not even have a charging brick from the box? If people could watch Mrwhosetheboss video about why Iphones are popular and the number one reason is because of the Huawei ban, which is what the US gov wants, the US believes in free market with the criteria that they should be on the top.

They can be used as a tablet or a mini laptop but my only problem is their screen durability. Huawei and Samsung Foldables are the way to go, just hope that samsung could resolve their screen issues. After all, samsung was fined for battery gating, and I think this is just another part of them wrecking your phone to force you to buy another.

The US government even lied to the world about Huawei and banned it because Huawei was too innovative that Apple was losing, which Apple deserves and the matter of fact "innovation" cannot be found on Apple's dictionary right now.           The last real Iphone was the Iphone 4.
          Apple without Steve Jobs is just garbage.
          You will have to accept it soon or later.

            In the first graph you will see the biggest quarter are the3rd and 4th quarters, especially the 3rd puts it right around the Apple iPhone releases.

            Many conclusions can be drawn from this, Am I getting an iPhone or something else? am I switching from an iPhone?
            I may be mis remembering, but sellers don't release Flips and Fold together so that could factor, also especially Folds releases all occur within months of each other. Without studying Flip releases in any detail summer releases would be another reason why 3rd quarters are the highest.

            The article is on foldables as a whole, you are comparing individual models against each other e.g Z Fold5, vs Z Flip 5 and not models within the same factor.

            This then brings another variable into play, in the UK there are more adverts for Flips than Fold, me myself are more interested in a Fold than a flip but I expect given the cost each film factor Flips outsell Folds

            The 2nd graph shows Samsung is in decline losing directly to Huawei. There is always a fall in the 4th quarter overall. However given Huawei’s China only policy the loss of sales is limited. Samsung can lose to international sellers especially those who now given their flips a triple camera.
            Just noticed it's a roller coster. Samsung Huawei and others appear not to recover to the same level the following years quarter. Don't ask as that would be a wild guess

The Z i... morethe samsung ones are the only ones that get released internationally, here in turkey the other folding phone is the tecno phantom v fold and it doesn't get near the spotlight as the samsung ones does. alot of that is thanks to samsung's brand image on consumers

Instead of enjoying the multiple options of foldables that offer what they want, they focus on the one Fold that doesn't.

                It proves they don't actually want competition. They don't even have intentions of buying a foldable. They just want to take shots at Samsung because they're the leader in this space.

                                But you are 100% wrong on being chunky. It is BY FAR the most pocketable book-style foldable. All those with huge outer screens don’t fit as easy into your pocket as Z Fold does. You are mixing being thin with the actual footprint. It is similar to the Flip 5 case. The Flip 5 when folded is thicker than slab phones, but It fits into smallest pockets of women’s dresses while all slab phones with the same screen size just don’t.
                                And don’t forget that some Z Fold competition have "outsourced" parts of the internals to a huge camera bump just to pretend to be thin. Those camera bumps make the phone in many ways less user friendly and functional.
                                The narrow outer screen is just perfect and ensures that the main screen keeps its tablet ratio and is not squarish.
                                And the crease is not an issue, and I would wait for long-term results from the competition.

                                    No creaseless screen, no support for S-pen on cover display, Too narrow outer screen, chunky compared to svelte honor and Mi foldables.
