Roughly is, height difference 7 mm and 3 mm width difference.

Main difference is that Mini has display almost edge to edge where SE3 doesn't with massive bars on top and bottom. But eexternal size being same as Mini makes it WAY smaller than 90% of smartphones on the market. Mini was tiny in size and so is SE3.

The "compact" myth about the SE (all of em) is absurd.
The only thing that is compact on it is the screen - the body itself is marginally smaller than regular smaller flagship models.
S23, Xperia 5 V have similar dimensions (sans height) but offer 50% more screen, better/more cameras and battery life that ain't dismal.

Like SE is a series of SE models each generation.
Making it first SE model. Kind of weird way to say it like that and not call it as a feature with new model cause the SE 4 be the 4th generation.
It's not like they make SE 3 with new features like switching from LCD to a version of AMOLED. All new features on SE 4 can be said as first in SE models.

SE 2 released when mini wasn’t a thing, it was also the smallest phone in the lineup then. And now SE3 is the smallest again after mini is discontinued.

An iPhone 14 with one camera, I think another iPhone SE with the current home button design but an A18 would be more unique. This will just be the fifth 6.1 inch OLED iPhone in their lineup.
