Anonymous, 09 Dec 2023Looks very affordable rn in the market, along with POP 8 an... morethe problem with android go is how the audio behaves through 3.5mm jack. it sounds like tincans aka realme phone speakers. has something to do with system audio configuration. and you cannot do screen recording either due to floating window feature has been disabled for most phone models, also, you cannot put genshin impact because it is 64 bit only. so no. even some games do not support android go.

My first phone was within USD 75 price range in year 2013.
Now i use USD 200 price range phone but still feel that paying what i need and use is much important.
My current phone can record 4K and got some other good features but i feel no need of those.
Next time i buy a phone i will keep it in my mind that will i ever use those extra options by paying more.
If no then i will buy those options which i will use.

Looks very affordable rn in the market, along with POP 8 and SPARK Go 2024. It is definitely get to buy who get stuck from Helio P35/G37 level with low storage.
But with Go edition? Well, actually it can install modern apps/games (like Genshin Impact). But we do not know what OS features been removed or changed in this Go variant from normal Android (android.software.picture_in_picture, android.hardware.ram.normal, android.hardware.sensor.gyroscope, etc.,). Since the base variant 3GB of RAM (or 4GB from POP 8, Spark Go *24) is available.
Bloatwares yep it has have bloatwares don't worry, it can manually be disable and uninstall app update relatively easy with or without ADB/Shizuku method.

why bother put android go edition.. it's not like t606 would run like helio g35 with full android. would be actually more usable with 6gb. because it is the minimum amount for android 13 to run smoothly.

Personally, I don't care about them as a brand, I'm just glad that people who aren't privileged enough have the option to get a phone this cheap and make them feel like that they got something resembling a premium product, even in a peculiar way
