If I'm going to pay full price off contract, then I'd personally rather have the unlocked one... The dev edition is not a new concept.

A real developer don't need a dev. version unless it's an early preview device. A dev. would rather unlock the cheaper (locked) device, if available. Wrong move!

I also have a Galaxy S, GS2, GS3, all rooted and updated stock-like custom roms used (wanam lite) GS3 mini, Galaxy Tab, Galaxy Tab2, and now recently acquired a shiny new GT-i9500 (octa core) Galaxy S4... this is the best one by far.. WOW! i do see that the international one the bootloader is on completely locked as CWM is out

I had S1. Recently sold. Though it resembles iPhone, it is a good device.
Few months back I purchased S3 and GNII.
S3 has smooth UI compared to GNII.
Is there any necessity to upgrade to S4?
