Sony Mobile really sucks. How many months we should wait for the update. Very disappointed. Never buy Sony, unless you do not care about software updates.
Sony Made.Believe JB is coming. I believe it will never come. Even if it comes I won't feel happy.

Been back to ICS wi... moretrolling trolling and trolling, just be sure of one thing, sony promised and as always will deliver even if late ( like what happened with xperia 2011 series), however the cause of that delay is fixing bugs and let the performance be awesome and smoother than ics ( ics was quite smooth just scrolling had a bit of freezing in the app drawer or in the homescreen on the xperia s)Wait and you'll get it, just remember that sony updated its whole xperia 2011 lineup to ics while samsung does not even want to update tab 10.1 to jellybean ( which is very capable for jb) and that samsung's updates have a lot of bugs and samsung releases very few bug fixes while sony always release software bug fixes later (if there was bugs)and that samsung dropped a lot of its promises for some devices while sony never did that!

I'm selling my Xperia idc if update is out, it is an amazing phone but the support behind it is bloody useless!!!!

They changed it back in their website.. Been back to ICS with the past 24 hours again.... http://www.sonymobile.com/gb/software/phones/xperia-s/
I should have got GS2 or GS3, mine also had yellow display and the camera could never focus,. Got a replacement months ago and it still had an awful camera.., been waiting since then for this update... Very few people like this phone.

The update didn't really begun. The official Sony Mobile FR page( http://www.sonymobile.com/fr/software/phones/xperia-s/ ) also does not show any information about the update.

Just because Xperia S is a 2012 phone shouldn't delay the updates with that much. When a new version of the software is out its a total failure if it takes more than ONE WEEK before alla phones/pads/computers have received it. Thers phones out there running Jelly Bean since almost a year and now soon will be getting 4.3.
WHYYYYYYYYY? So slooooooooooow updates?

I don't want to disappoint you, but reading French, I checked the French Android forums and apparently nobody in those forums has received the update.
Maybe the "first builds" only concern a very small quantity of smartphones?
I also checked the twitter thread. Sony Mobile France also announced: "@SonyXperiaFR: Le déploiement est en cours. Dans la journée pour les 1ers, semaine prochaine pour les autres." which can be translated: "The deployment is on progress. During the day, for the first, next week for the others.

Confirmed an update notification while checing update from Sony Xperia S in Vietnam location appear over the air. So I think most left countries will get its soon.

I have a friend with an S2 galaxy, and Jelly Bean is a bit of a pipe dream for him as well here in SA. People really need to get a life. Everybody that carries on about going to Samsung is in for a nasty surprise if they think updates come hard and fast on that side of the fence.
