rrr, 14 Dec 2023Apple loves locking in user , the picture is a milk cow :)Welcome to 2013. Lol.
Nobody is locking you. If you want, yes you can have only Apple products.
If not, you can use other devices from other manufacturers/systems. You can use windows laptop, android tablets and iPhone for example. You can use Bluetooth speakers from any company, wireless headphones from any company with your iPhone. You don't need iTunes anymore to download/upload files from iPhone to laptop and vice versa.

For example, I just go to icloud.com, put my Apple ID in and exchange excel, word, pdf files, photos, etc. between my windows laptop and my iPhone. Is even easier for me, because when I had Android phones I couldn't transfer these files through cable, because my company has locked USB ports on the laptop (for data transfer). Using one drive, icloud.com, etc. I can do this with no problem. Is 2023, nobody uses cables anyway. lol.

If you think frequent updates are bad and are there just because the product is not good, you have no idea how software works.

                Oh corporal power 🤦‍♂️

Dream off implies they cannot do it, Apple have just chosen not to implement ridiculously high charging rates.

What Apple have achieved quite successfully though is to move right into your head and set up shop totally rent free......

Aren't iPhones encountering varied multiple issues, ranging from screen issues like black screen and lines, speakers not working and voice functions not working etc. after various updates?

One think. Using only fast charging after half year still hav e98% battery capacity charging every day because i am heavy gamer spending 2-3 hours a day playing clash of lords.
Having no issues with my phone.
We cant say same about apple which overheats even on Tetris or game of Mahjong or Zumba.

It’s better to buy an all-day phone than one that requires constant charging, which will obviously kill your battery faster. And you better hope and pray your puny little 4600mAh battery doesn’t die quickly because you’re always super-duper fast charging, lol.

Anonymous, 12 Dec 2023Yawn, wake me up when Apple finally adds RCS. RCS is a mess. Most users don't have it enabled or run too old software so you end up sending SMS and MMS anyway in the end as both parties need it enabled. And even when RCS is supported, there are versions of it and mostly it's not even end to end encrypted either. Also not all features are even available in the baseline version of it and are only available in Google's implementation of it.

I personally don't know many people who think much of it at all.
But I totally agree in that we should strive to reduce our digital fingerprints rather than to fill in the blanks through journaling.

The most anticipated update of iOS 17 and no mention of the feature on GSMArena, what are yall doing? iOS added the feature to change default notification sound after the iOS 17 backlash..

And seeing as no iOS update has even been subject to a staged rollout (at least to my knowledge), I would think doing it now with 17.2 would make for bigger news.
