nobody's buying exynos wouldve had the chipset from sd or mtek D wouldve been fun plus not the drop notch

Who would've thought the Exynos 1280 was gone for good.
This thing is like a villain who was kicked off a cliff, just to climb back up 2 days later all while being heavily injured.

Nothing interesting in these phones.
At least, Samsung finally decided to put 8GB RAM for basic models and 256GB of internal storage. The rest of the specs is basically "more of the same" old models.

It's been a long time since last time I heard Chinese vendors released their low-ends with these chipsets, but nowadays it's just between Helio G85/Snapdragon 680.

So, at last, it's not really a "wasted spaces" especially when you game or watching videos on it. Also, it's just 1 mm.

samsung somehow did better than BBK with their horrible spec to price ratio Y and A series. their common specs are usually 720p v notch LCD, helio p/g35 and useless depth camera for the sake of design.

I know you guys don't like these phones, but hear me out:
- Phones in Vietnam are always probably a bit more expensive than what you guys have in your place (it's like Europe but a little less extreme).
- To be fair, these phones are pretty good for their prices. Most phones at $200 in Vietnam are BBK's with Helio G85/ Snapdragon 680/ Unisoc Tiger T618 (and it extends to the $250 price range), HD+ IPS-LCD, useless camera, and little to no software updates from the company, so having phones from a big brand that offer a good set of features like this really is something. Also just after a few week they will be on sale for 80% of the time at like 70% of the price, so it's really not that bad.
