Even oneplus Open which was for 490 at balck friday sale uses way more carbon fiber and titanium than Apple.
Well no suprprise.
I personaly never expected much from a company which started in agarage and ended in some cave making for pepople who loves to be bought by a foul words full of expensive sweeteners.

          .alpha, 13 Dec 2023The carbon fiber films are for heat dissipation and titaniu... moreGreat explanation so maybe people will understand, yeah, the humidity can be toxic in some parts of Asia at times, humidity and heat is a definite killer, so yeah, still, carbon fiber aint that great at heat dissipation, so they had some clues right, still, its a very good material, it's gonna be interesting if someone starts using graphene or similar for dissipating heat, we made some at work just for testing purposes and it was kinda crazy. Graphene is pretty closely related to Carbon fiber innit and excellent at what? Not really tested out how well it works against heat in a cpu setting or similar, if even possible, but it should I guess, water cooling worked after a few attempts. Cheers. And awesome explanation for people who might think its cheaping out.

                I like your narration, very crystal clear. Everything is on point. As you were killing a live phone. You made my heart ache. You can at least make a give away than to murder a live phone. If I don't get a free phone I will call you "the phone murderer". I'm still hurting with the phone murdering.

                  The first pic in this article is proof Android UI design language is a joke as an operation system in 2023 . But ig Google never cared about convenience of users and pushed successful advertised their new snooping tools as "smart features"

We see posts about condensation on the camera module and frequent black spots, lines on the inner screen. That doesn't really improve OnePlus' image as a non-reliable brand.

                              The carbon fiber films are for heat dissipation and titanium screws for repair as the hinge isn't going to be protected by environmental sealing so the screw head might get oxidized if trapped moisture takes a long time to dry. Chinese phones are designed to have better heat dissipation and moisture protection because southern China, Southeast Asia, South Asia, and Middle East are way hotter than Apple and Samsung's usual market in North America and Europe

                                -no proper water resistant in 2023
                                - no wireless charging in 2023
                                - no desktop mode in 2023
                                - unoptimized multitasking experience
                                - being a rebranded cheap brand Oppo Find N3
                                - primitive punch hole camera in 2023
                                - lack number of official stores
                                - poor quality of night mode camera
                                - poor design and cheap looking of Oxygen OS/Color OS"

                                  Titanium screws added for now structural nor weight savings benefit at all. Magnesium allow could've been used as it's a very small component.

                                  They should've waited for 8Gen 3 SoC allotment for this unit. At least the design and RAM is solid.
