    I think all of these would be better than the diagonal arrangement from 13 to 15. Though the one-piece design would mean that if it cracks, dust renders both lenses useless instead of just one. If it was like the iPhone X without the extra rectangle bump it would look better.

      Wow never thought APPLE would be copying Xiaomi's designs but here we are

                I'm not an iphone user, but till now all iphone designs were awesome. if this is the iphone 16 model, this is definitely horrible.

                  They might called it, camera island

                    If this prototype will become true, that camera island will be the ugliest than the iphone's ugly camera island before...

                      People say it was Xiaomi because it is a single piece of glass inside a square island .. Xiaomi did make this design well know and I remembered reading Gsmarena review about Redmi note 10 that using this design.

                        Apple has not really stopped in time, as it is going back. Sad to see the lack of creativity in a company that is already the best in design and innovation.

                          I don’t know what a Xiaomi is, but apparently Apple is copying them…? Even though the left model looks the iPhone X in a wider form factor (with an unneeded square camera bump) and the others look the same as the last 4 year base iPhones.

                          So not sure that’s copying a Xiaomi thingamajig

                                  Interesting design choice. Though I actually like the clean aesthetics of the 11-15 lineup. Maybe they can just raise the island to be equal to the lens housing. But if that's the 16 design, I'd like to see how the 16 Pro fairs. The 17 might also have a 3x telephotos but Apple would never do that 😂.

                                    oh come on.. are they try to make fun of androids? 😂

                                      I like the unified volume buttons, but keep the existing camera island.
