frp9, 27 Dec 2023with all my respect to gsmarena team.... it's 11 days ... more11 days isn't quite enough for thoughtful review. I'd say 2 weeks for testing and living with the phone plus a week for writing it down is a bar minimum.

Apparently the reviewers are on holiday, so this review is not finished yet. We need to wait until January 3rd next year.

The value/price is insane. I might import one if this review is good. Please post the review. Thank you.

justasmile, 17 Dec 2023Wireless charging generates more heat than wired charging. It depends if the wireless charger has cooling fan or not, the ones in cars will obviously heat up the phone.
It's true wireless charging is less efficient than wired charging but mentioning heat is so 2015-2016 like during the Galaxy S6/S7, iPhone 6 era, we're in 2023 and technology evolves.

I only charge my vivo X Note with said 50W wireless charger, and it's being actively cooled while charging, yes it might generate more heat, but since it's constantly being cooled, it stays cold.

And even more so if it is associated with a relatively dim, wide-angle lens that has to cover a lot of scene, without any type of specification that at least suggests that it is of decent quality (it is not spherical, nor does it have glass elements, etc). It is evident that it is highly unbalanced with respect to the main camera or the telephoto lens.

Biggest enemies of batteries is when they are extremely cold or hot, in this case neither situation is present.

Oneplus support is on per with Samsung 4 years android and 5 years security

the Realme GT5 Pro isnt an option as its missing Band 20 if it did that most likely would have been my next phone for £500

and for my work android works better and love that I have option to many different brands and specs and its satisfying being able to pay less :)

I used to buy samsung and also owned iphone and imo just way too expensive for what they offer, if I feel someone is offering good deal I'll jump ship to wherever, the cameras have got good on most phones now unless you really bothered to want the very best you consider if the cost is worth it for me it isnt , Im getting large battery, super fast charging, lovely screen , latest chip etc for that cost its good to me :)

As I said, I bought my original 50W vivo wireless charger in a country where vivo basically doesn't even exist, so I highly doubt it would be so hard to buy one elsewhere. Otherwise Tradingshenzen also sells the vivo charger I mentioned, so I'm sure in a little bit of time they will store the Realme version, and they ship worldwide.

I think within China it's considered that this phone is the phone that gives the best specs overall for the price. Can you name a phone with better specs for the price? Specs aren't the only thing to consider of course but as regards specs for the price then this is probably the best new flagship so far. Compared with the gt2 pro there are also upgrades, for example the main sensor, the telephoto and the front camera and USB 3.x and wireless charging. Also the phone launched a lot cheaper than the gt2 pro. The gt2 pro was around 21% more expensive
