I wish Apple opens up its platform and file system by adding USB OTG and better connectivity with world standards. I believe this is their major weakness and major selling point of Android.

just compare it to VANILLA experience of PURE android, like Nexus Phone, or phone with vanilla aosp android os.

TouchWiz shit slows down great phone.

Pausing the app behind is not multitasking....
In ios few selected apps can multitask such as ipod mp3 player...
Other than that 3rd party apps can't multitask...

so basicly to keep the os running smooth instead of installing better hardware apple prefers to simplify the os by making no animations or colors at all. And they accuse android to not to be as fast as ios..of course you have a lively os there full of animations, colors and choices..so its normal to be a bit slower, but it is for sure more enjoyable. I have an iphone 4s by the way and apple do not stop to dissapoint again..and again.

Good to see that Apple is working on innovation instead of suing people. I'll look forward to it. Just be mindful about your slogans, okay?

As an app developer, if you consider ios and android, Apple excels way ahead of android. Code crashes and random problems while developing is a common thing. The things you can do with ios while developing is fun and challenges your creative abilities which android is failing big time at this moment. If you want an example, experience google now and facebook/twitter apps on both platforms and you will know what I mean.
I personally can't wait to get my hands on to ios. As far as apps are concerned, ios is standing way up from any other mobile os. Multitasking is a good experience on ios aswell. I would recommend Android users who complain about ios multitasking to try multitasking first because ever since ios 4.0 multitasking has been at its best.
Android on the other hand is great for customizations and basically thats it. Its not a very good friend of developers though. I think most of developers will agree with me aswell.

Since windows xp, it came 2001, so it looked same for 12 years, and no-one have had problem with that. Now they changed it and no-one doesnt want it, so good example: why change something which already works very well and which people feel familiar.

flatter ? black and white ?

sounds to me like apple is trying to keep iOS from becoming too laggy. cause it is currently. lags like a mofo. and if they ever want to copy more from android ....erh..i mean make new ui improvements, then they need to make it all slimmer.
and all this considering it's not even a real multitasking os.

This radical UI overhaul is rather risky for Apple since many people may not be fond of such a big change (be it good or bad). Apple has always been known for the refined graphical interface and I believe overhauling it is a bold move likely to turn out catastrofic (jundging from most of the "post-Steve" decisions Apple has made).
All we can really do about it is keep our fingers crossed, hope for the best and most importantly to be open-minded.
                              Have a nice one!

I can't wait to see this. I'm not a fanboy but I gotta say that iOS is one of the best OS out there, second would be Windows for Nokia and last and suckiest would be Android, based on my experience... no offense to the fanboys. Got an iPhone 5 since last year and my Mom juz bought S4 this month. Stability and fluidity wise, S4 still can't beat my iPhone. With lotsa apps opened up, I still get the lag present on the S3, is still on the S4, while the iPhone is still as smooth as ever. The only thing I hate about Apple though is, when this next big thing comes out, I'm sure as hell its gonna cost an arm and a leg.

After 6 yrs of boredom, ios has new look. Will this new look remain the same for the next 6 yrs??? So basically, Apple make new hardware every 2 yrs and new UI every 6 yrs.
