Now i am convinced BBK is behind Nothing too. MediaTek 7200 is so reused among bbk devices and no other company (except may xiaomi) launched devices with it.

Anonymous, 16 Dec 2023Disappointing. Was hoping fit a 7plus Gen 2Please stop now. We'll never see that chip outside the Poco F5. Even that Realme that was supposed to use it is very rare to find, and both released almost a year ago

            Dead on arrival

nothing Phone doesn't hold a candle against varieties of Chinese phone unless it priced low compare to mid-range phones and that's probably explain the use of MediaTek.

Atleas chipset should be MTK 8xxxx Series

My guess: it will be far from the most affordable midrangers, maybe priced slightly above the average midrange price. Probably 400-450 eur.

if you want to use other OS, sadly this phone won't support custom OS cuz MediaTek has closed source than Snapdragon's open source

maybe if it was really compact, but nope thank you

the lineageos team will hate this phone...

Hemedans, 16 Dec 2023It's good among all 2 big 6 small cores, but when you ... moreit will never cost 300, expect it close to 400 this chinese is greedy

And now it begins... Launching too many devices

DarlingYext, 15 Dec 2023I mean the Dimensity 7200 isn't bad, it's quite c... moreIt's good among all 2 big 6 small cores, but when you compare it to any recent 4 big cores cpu it's behind, can't even beat old soc like sd 778G in Multicore. Hence it depend with price, below $300 it's ok, above it there are dozens better soc.

If Nothing wants to be different than the other OEMS, use more rare chipsets like SD 7 Gen 3/SD 7+ Gen 2 or D8300.

D7200 is a good chipset all in all but they're not catering to their actual goal. Be different. Also, if this is 400-520USD, Galaxy A55 better bulk up

Anonymous, 16 Dec 2023Disappointing. Was hoping fit a 7plus Gen 2Hardly, I kinda expected the SD7 Gen 3 at least or the D8100.

Still D7200 is a side grade compared to 778G which was decent
