While the actual production cost between per Snapdragon 680 and 788 SoC may not be that big, companies tend to manufacture phones in millions in which that small price difference would stack tremendously.

      So a $1 production cost increase may amount to $1,000,000 if they make 1,000,000 units of this phone.
      So to all who complain why companies don’t inject a better chip on their products, that’s why.

            680 in 2024 wtf, G99 would be better

              Eh, okay. They could've used a better chip in there, but it's sure more worth it than the X7b.

                What would happen if they'd put a processor like the 778G in it ? Why are they always using these outdated craps ?

                  A perfect spare smartphone.... Its only perfect if it's not QSD 680, which is too old for today's standard

                    "Trendy design" yeah, might as well just call it iPhone design.

                        waste. I have moto G41 6+128GB with AMOLED. which i got it from here in amazon uae for 309 without offer. which is far better than Honor x8b. helio G85> snapdragon 680. then what is the point of launching this phone for 799.
