That time is already here for smartphones. What they offer has become stable, no major changes or disruptions.

So far, nothing really exciting or newsworthy here. An updated tele module, that's it.
One can only hope that Samsung has significantly improved image processing and will pull more information and better image quality from the sensor shots.
Google excels in squeezing the most even from tiny sensors, so let's see what Samsung has up their sleeves.

Anonymous, 18 Dec 2023Samsung is really following Apple's slow-ass upgrade s... moreThat's it, besides, it seems like they don't care about the base model, it's going to be the same rear cameras for the third year and I feel like we can get to a fourth year like this, Samsung might have the best Android update support , but I'll never go back, I'll choose a brand that values bringing hardware and software innovations, since Samsung decided to sleep on time and even cut features on the S22, leaving it exclusive to the S23, like the portrait mode with 2x zoom that easily gave to put on the S22, since the S23FE has it and the S23FE is basically an S22 from the A line.

So based on this logic S30 will have 200mp or maybe 300mp 0.8µm main sensor and 108mp ultra wide and 108mp telephoto lens? What about galaxy s100? Could we see 1000mp main sensor for that?

Samsung is a great brand and provides many features in almost all aspects. Regarding the cameras, it seems that it is two generations behind. On Dxomarkt the first Samsung that you find in the classification is in position 22. Removing the cameras it is a phone of 10.
