At least for now the difference with Xiaomi is their final price for more or less the same tech as the others, more if you ask me, if the Chinese model is good enough for your needs, aka your carrier doesn’t need b20 band (I don’t).

I imported the Xiaomi 13U for 850 bucks from China, taxes and transport included. Please do tell of a better deal for the money.

    The biggest examples of this trend were the A1x phones ranging from the A12 to the A14. Those phones were awful on a spec-per-dollar metric, yet they remained the best-selling Android phones for three years straight.

        2013 to 2015. Motorola G series with better software support than Samsung S series.
        Samsung sold more than 300 million phones/tablets. Motorola not even 50.

        Yeah, software support is really that popular.
