Koishi Komeiji, 21 Dec 2023seriously, get itel P55 5G for cost under $130some phone retailers would intentionally give you defective model if you choose any other brand than oddo and oviv. this is why considering buying phones online is much more reliable than some pushy salesperson whose encouraging that buying other brands than oddo and oviv gives no warranty and "faster to break" although A series and Y series is the most phone series to get repaired via 3rd party repair shops.

Anonymous, 22 Dec 2023How does their naming even work?by using roll dice to make names. unsuspected customers will differentiate between A series by the back design

Anonymous, 22 Dec 2023How does their naming even work? For example the A5x, with x usually the generation year of the device. You can expect A19, A39, A59, A79 and A99 launching within months of each other in the same year. Oppo naming scheme sometimes still confuse us by launching S models i.e. A77S with months after A77.

This is basically just a Chinese market A58 with the same notch display. Oppo downgraded the camera setup though

LosEstupido, 21 Dec 2023Oppo might as well just kill or at least reboot the A serie... moreYou'll be surprised how popular these lower end Oppo phones are. In some countries, Oppo's strategy is penetrating 2nd and 3rd tier cities by making better deals with shops and resellers. You can go to a random small city in SE Asia, and you can see many stores with huge Oppo (and Vivo as well) logos/banners. Stores are more likely to push Oppo phones to walk-in customers. Add on their gaudy shiny shells, they easily attract unknowing consumers.

Koishi Komeiji, 21 Dec 2023seriously, get itel P55 5G for cost under $130Although it's easy to say "this phone is better than that" online, market reality can be quite different. Oppo has wider availability in some markets, especially at retailers, than iTel. In some countries, you're more likely to stumble upon a store selling an Oppo phone than an iTel phone.

Ah oppo. That oppo. No thanks.
Oppo should really, like really really change their letter lineup to the O series, not because it's for the Oh factor, but for the "overpriced sh_t" they keep putting out on the market these days. E-waste.

In my opinion the model name is so unattractive. It's so forgettable... The specs doesn't live up with competition too.

Severely overpriced crap from Oppo. Get a Redmi Note 12, it's just better in so many levels.

Is 8.12mm thin? In 2015, this would have been considered thick because phones like the Galaxy S6 and iPhone 6 were below 7mm (and much lighter to boot)
