In fact I can't forget when he did a Collab with MKBHD, where it was LG G6 vs Samsung S8, with MrMobile being team LG and citing a bunch of compelling reasons for being in the LG's side.
Then it went over to MKBHD and all he said was "haha display better, haha sd835" and his argument was over

In fact, I still maintain that it was popular sellouts like him and Mrwhosetheboss who killed LG Mobile. That's why I completely stopped following them and now following small indie creators like Juan Carlos Bagnell (aka SomeGadgetGuy), TK Bay, and The Tech Preacher, to name a few, instead. Much more intellectual and informative review with the latter.

Even though I'm not a fan of foldable phones, the Magic Vs got my vote for its price. Here in Malaysia, it's the cheapest Snapdragon-powered foldable phone on sale. To put it into context, the sole 12/512 configuration is a good $300 less than the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4/5 with matching configuration. Even at this time of writing, there's a Christmas/New Year promotion which further lowers down the price by about $180. It's an absolute steal for me, especially when Honor's Magic Desktop Mode is as equally capable as Samsung's DeX.

Batteri Voltas, 31 Dec 2023MKBHD will call everything without an Apple or a Google log... morenot even reading the spec sheet, but all he does is judging brand name. anything other than apple, samsung, and google logo on the back. would consider spyware for him. even $100k filming rig is not necessary just to create paid content. a disgrace of tech review world. i'm really glad i didn't subscribe to that channel. i can look elsewhere.

Yeah it's a concept of how some brands like Honor will allow customers to assemble their phones on their own. But still MKBHD called out that Concept phones were almost the biggest losers of 2023...

Huawei took over from where ... moreI have P30 Pro more than 3 years now, it's well passed usual time of 1-2 years sticking with one phone, but just delaying that decision, because it's still great phone, fast, great screen, great camera, battery still holding a full day of use, and it was last Huawei with Google.

Everyone stepped up, except Honor.
Also, the scroll lag on youtube is there since the 1st day and they never fixed it. Playing with the refresh rate changes nothing.
In conclusion: fantastic hardware, poor / not optimized software. (except the camera which is one of the best)

Anton el papi, 31 Dec 2023honor Magic 5 pro the phone of the yearFor me it's a no contest. Huawei took over from where it left off...that's #1. I own 3 different high end devices. HM5 pro is the best by a mile. I'm not mentioning the other two so it will stirr uo the pot. Any ex Huawei user who was missing all those features and settled for some the biased market is pushing for can now go back, I promise that. After using it for about 8 months that is by far the best thing you can find on the market. Best of everything. Screen, 3d face unlock with a minimal cutout, snappiest camera, desktop mode, two days battery life, fast chargin/reverse charging, best pc/tablet multitasking (any pc), and just a million other features. I'll buy the 6 pro without thinking twice.

Well i was always particulary happy with Honor series. They offered quality for good price.

Also, Honor, stop making your flagships in matt green then reducing the black model to a glossy mess. They did it with the Magic 5 Pro and looks like the 6 Pro with follow suit.
