The downgrade in screen resolution is unfortunate, since its not even amoled.
At least it will help with battery life.
The dimensity is close to 920/1080, so not bad in general.
The Android 13 sucks big time though. We know how bad the software support is on these budget phones in general, so Android 14 out of the box would be ideal.

They downgraded the screen? I remember when most manufacturers were downgrading their screens in 2031, such as going from the A31 to the A32 5G. I really hope this era isn't returning. And with Samsung now giving their more budget phones Super AMOLED screens now (A15) this is not a good look.

The is literally a downgrade from the M5, the only good things about it is the 8GBs RAM Option and the Lowered Price.
4GB RAM Low end Phones should cost 100 Dollars Max, having the base option of this phone (4GBs) cost 140 Dollars is really bad, especially for future proofing.
I hate sounding like a broken record, but 3 years ago, you could get a Quad Camera Setup and 6GBs of RAM, and sometimes even a FHD+ Screen for that same price.
I'm pissed because Inflation and Greed has gotten so bad that we're coming back full circle to 13MP Single Cameras on cheap midrange smartphones as seen on OPPO A59, and that phone isn't even cheap, it costs 200 Dollars at 6/128GB.

Very weak specs for a $100 phone, atleast 12GB RAM with SD 8 series was needed. Now I'll go buy S23 ultra for my left hand and iPhone 15 Pro for my right hand for only $1000 each
