Oh, so we're back to four sensors now?

We've come full circle since 2019, it seems.

"optical zoom" is the correct term.

"lossless" in digital image terminology refers to storing digital images without compression and loss of quality.

I rather take an good sensor with creat pixel performance and creat zoom capabilities than sht load of pixels with shtty zoom aka digital zoom or any unnecessary cropping and post processing which they rely too much these days and it starts to make me sick.

These attempts are getting more and more desperate in the pretence that they have information that no one else has.

Possibly a facsimile (look-alike) of the S23 Ultra with a 100% mocked up version of what the S24 Ultra SKU is.

The story is "Exclusive images of the S24" Ultra camera modules supported by pixilated documentation.

AI may improve the quality of s24u camera with the old hw but, competitors will also use s8g3 which have the same AI power. AI power should not be considered as a solid upgrade as it will be equally powerful in every 2024 flagship. however, those uw and 3x hw belongs to 2021 and they needed and upgrade.

One of the most important specs for the tele capabilities is the number of pixels per angle.
Here is a list of some cameras with their relative maximum number of pixels per angle.

186064% Extremely Large Telescope in the visible spectrum (hasn't been built yet)
29770% Hubble Space Telescope from 2002 till January 2007

98% Google Pixel 7 Pro QB
93% Google Pixel 8 Pro QB
                    91% Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra B
                    88% Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra B
                    85% Huawei Mate 40 Pro+ B
85% BBK Vivo X100 Pro QB
                    75% Huawei P60 Pro QBY
                    50% Apple iPhone 15 Pro Max B
                    43% Google Pixel 6 Pro B*
                    42% Google Pixel Fold B
                    32% Apple iPhone 15 Pro B
                    22% Apple iPhone 15 QB
                    11% Apple iPhone 14 B

Color filter array: Quad Bayer often delivers worse results than Bayer with the same number of pixels per angle, but if the lens isn't very sharp (for example diffraction), then the difference between Bayer and Quad Bayer may be neglectable. It also depends on the algorithm of the manufacturer.
                    B=Bayer
QB=Quad Bayer without Quad Pixel autofocus
QBY=Quad Bayer with yellow pixels and without Quad Pixel autofocus
B*=In contrast to the Pixel 7 Pro/8 Pro, the Pixel 6 Pro always uses pixel binning, which results in a Bayer array. Otherwise its value would be 86% QB. Possibly, there are other QB phones that have actually B* and have a value that is actually half as large.
