To be honest, I don't really give af about the opinion of this mega Apple fanboy, I read his articles for years, I'm amazed there are other phones except iPhones on his list. And the way he spoke about the iPhone 15 pro sounded like the ultimate Apple shill. These guys make it look like the only brands on the planet are Apple, Google, Samsung and Oneplus, god forbid an Honor, Vivo, Asus, Oppo, Motorola, or Xiaomi would make it on these lists. The only redeeming thing is that he gave the Nothing Phone 2 the recognition it deserves.

Eh, he was always an iPhone fanboy even when he had a Samsung Galaxy S3 (guess he couldn't afford an iPhone when he started working at GSMarena. I'm surprised GSMarena still keeps him. His horrible and annoying articles turned GSMarena into iPhonearena for those who still remember his writings, like 8+ years ago (always dumping on Samsung and praising Apple).

Have you checked Xiaomi Poco F5? The camera is superb if you're not a professional photographer. If you're not too desperate now, wait until Q1 of next year, because there're some very nice phones in the pipeline. Personally I don't need a new phone right now, but who knows... Happy New Year!

I'm surprised that anyone is recommending the 7a over the 7. The bezels on it are huge. If the 7 is too big, I'd get a 6a, as its bezels are smaller and its battery life is superior.
It's actually really hard to find a good all-round device. A good camera and fast charging are important to me, which is why I recently ordered a Nord 3. It sounds like the Nothing Phone 2 has a superior main camera to the PH1, so it's a good all-round device. However, it's still quite expensive and in my mind, phones should be under 200g, not over.

I'm still using Nova launcher on my 6a with Android 14. The only issue I have is with the navigation keys disappearing sometimes when I'm using Maps. I have to turn the display off and on to have them reappear.

I agree with the thoughts on Android, too many OEM's mess with it, when vanilla Android on the Pixel phones are a delight to use.

Yeah phone 2 has the most smoothest,fluidness,best looking UI,don't let those huge lists of bug fix get in ya head👍

Agree with the nothing phone one, they have the best ui of any android phone right now. Chinese phones have good hardware but their software isn't the best and Google breaking the launcher support with the last few versions doesn't help things too; and Samsung is too bloated. Wish nothing would try their hands at a true top of the line flagship next year, maybe even a foldable. Well, one can dream..
