I am reading the comments: some people claims of low speed of cpu and low camera pixel and so on, that this is expensive than others like lg or samsung. you know that taiwan hardware is the best compare to lg or samsung or apple.
People this is a phone for pocket not a tablet or pc or a ... just for some games some email check or sms or calling.
why you think that we need a powerful hardware then we make our softwares heavyer. and this circle is continued...

had this phone had a dual or quad core I wud have bought it. I like this screen size. it has 1gb of ram which is gr8, it just needs a better processor

im a htc`s fan but i reject this price..
i prefer one x+ easily over this ..
maybe desire 600 has a amazing design but one x is soooo beautiful too plus that sense 5 will come to one x+ soon with blink feed and much more cpu and spc then desire 600.
maybe htc must tag it for 300-350$

Those complaining about the price should note that in russia galaxy s4 has a price of $970 against 650$ elsewhere around the world... So the price of snapdragon 600 would be around $300 for rest of the world... Russia is way too expensive

With this price-tag for a device that has a cortex A5 SOC, qHD display, only 7,2 Mb/s HSDPA, there is no wonder that HTC is going down (or has a strategy to end it fast?). Even the "old" nexus 4, which is in a completely different league, is cheaper (speaking of the retail price, fixed by LG and not by Google)and can be purchased from any store (or even supermarket)
