I just don't see the point of going back to slow charging, when faster is just the better solution.

DarlingYext, 04 Jan 2024In my experience, I found that charging a phone overnight d... morethat "charging phone overnight damage battery" is old stuff
nowdays the phone battery have limit/switch and various other safety stuff
some phone can limit/stop charging when reach 80%, so possibility to get damage overcharge is pretty low
in past, trickle charge maybe can cause damage incase the phone keeping battery at full (max voltage)
but today phone is efficient enough, so in standby, the phones shouldnt loss power (dropping below 98% to trigger to trickle-charge to charge back to 100)
fast-charging is good, but in my personal test from 25w to 45w with oppo phones the total full charge different is like ~15minutes
the cons 45w was adding more heat to the battery when start charging (below 50%)
safety and prolong use wise, 25w is sufficient for many people (with in situation where people charge once at end of the day) imo
if not, tons people using iphones should already screaming for slow/long charging time

Instead of using fancy metals like titanium and adamantium, they could do something to reduce the price and increase the battery capacity which are really useful to people.

After S25, a big jump will only occur again in "S29 or S30".

Titanium vs Aluminium: its stronger so they might be able to build thinner frame; maybe this is also how they were able to increase the size of the vapor chamber altough switching from 10x persiscope to 5x periscope cam also will involve volume benefits. Weight wise it might be a tiny bit lighter, my bet. No way 20 grams indeed!

I was thinking about getting the 24U to replace my old phone, but I hate the silly pen (wish they made 2 versions, one without the s-pen and a slightly bigger battery), and I have a feeling the new AI stuff will be a useless gimmick, just like Bixby was when it came out.
So any recommendations what to get?
The only things important to me are: Android, great acreen and great battery life. no budget limit.
