My Samsu... moreI play 3D multiplayer games and even though this device was advertised as the best gaming phone, it lagged in major titles since day one and it never got corrected because the chip was constantly overheathing so much that it had to do major throttle and most games start to lag quickly. I could never and still can't play games on higher than low graphics setting.

Why have an event at all when pretty much everything about these phones is known and leaked to influencers for months berforehand?
Anyway, I have an S23 Ultra and have almost zero desire to upgrade this year. Axing the 10x camera is a huge misstep imo

Well i know i am not a samsung fan and i dont plan to be for many obvious reasons but still i am dissapointed.
All they did is they added to S24 line New Exynos CPU and GPU S23 ultra will get little bit better main camera and thats it.
Apart the lot bigger price increase and zero accesories in box like past 3 years before there is nothing worth buying samsung.

At this point I don't care about gimmicky rabranded features that were always on Samsung phones or could be achieved with another app, I just look forward to the new processor, that's literally the only reason to upgrade from my Note20 Ultra (Exynos 990).

As I was waiting for a good reason to upgrade, and as My Nikon P1000 is retired after full 5 years of optical 125X Zoom,photography (Daylight Landscapes + Moon), It is time to go for GS24U + FF GFX 100 II. Except roaring cars retirements, 2024 will be a good year to upgrade.

Honestly I think the most exciting thing about the Galaxy s24 series is this years over the horizon ringtone. I really hope Samsung redeems themselves after last year.

Traditionally, markets like the US tend to have great trade-in deals since Samsung is trying to compete with Apple. In contrast, in many other markets where Samsung is the dominant player, promos are few and far in between outside the usual pre-order storage bonus and 1 year Samsung care (which is practically useless, how often does a phone break within a year?).

I remember Good old Unpacked days where I was so much excited for the new Model launch and everytime when I saw the phone showed first time it gave so much adrenaline and wanted to buy the product as soon as available .... Especially S6,S7 and S8 were amazing ...now unpacked is just boring and stopped watching it since s21
