The last good design for the A series was A73.. Samsung purposely made the current A series look ugly to upsell their flagships. The A54 is physically larger than A71 while having smaller screen

Not loving the "Key Island" though. Wish they kept the frame flat on all 4 sides like on the S24 range. Maybe with the A56...

Wow, and this thing is probably again launching at €499.
Meanwhile cheaper Motorola phones do better.

For the price it'll sell for it should do, next GSM will be writing an article just to say it has a 1080p screen... Oh wait they have already done this with past samsung phones, sorry forgot this is the "samsung is life" forum.
Again why arent all of xiaomi, sony, oppo, vivo, oneplus, motorola, asus, black shark, realme, honor... (i could keep going) not get this level of in depth news about all their devices from low end to mid range, all we get is just the specs and usually not 100% correct, you dont go above and beyond like you do for samsung, apple and google.
I bet i can make a prediction now and it'll come true. I bet off all the hype and news that this site will push on the a55, theyll push it as the best mid ranger you can buy and will push 5 times the news articles on it than its rivals and better mid rangers then will say at the end of the year "most popular and read about phone". (they already see it as the best mid ranger of 2024 btw guys, just so you all know before hand, just pure deception of displaying data).

A55 screen ratio at 6.5 is too big to hold, it should be 6.3 or 6.4

They already have the same back. People who payed more for their phone should atleast have a premium front.

Only the software part basically sets 150-200 euro on the price as they give you middle class hardware that is not even best you can get for middle class hardware. So with Samsung you pay 150-200 euro for the extra 2 OS updates and 2 years of security updates over other phones that give you the best hardware for that 150-200 euro cheaper price

Just as example the current M34 (INR 20,000 in India) may be equated to 3 year old M21 / M31 / M31s (INR 14,000 average) save for tiny quality of life improvements, the essential feels are same that don't give much sense cost-wise if someone from M 2020 is upgrading.
MEHS:
1. Same display (now 120Hz),
2. same "speed" experience by 2023 measures (9611 > 1280 negated by inflationary higher software requirements of today),
3. RAM 6 GB (base model) is basically essential today (4 GB on M 2020)
4. battery same.
PROS:
5. 5G ( over 2020 4G)
CONS:
6. cameras basically same (OIS benefits is meh when paired to even tiny & dim sensor compared to the earlier 1/2")
So naturally, higher cost lower satisfaction (except 5G speeds), they will want to either go higher for better experience (forced to rise) to A54, M54, etc.

Starting from Poco X5, X5 Pro all new Xiaomi phones basically have that under 2mm of bezel. How come Samsung cant have these on there middle class phones that have also premium price for them ? While Samsung is producing screens on there own too while dont use them like there cameras and sensors they make and dont use on there own phones. Other brands also have already moved to the smallest bezel possible

Regardles how meh this phone, and no charger in the box. People Will defend this phone with argument like "one UI the best UI in the world, 4 years of update" the exynos itself should be the reason to stay away from this phone, i already experience the ineffciency of it, overheating, bad modem etc
