The Redmi Note 12 series we're released in October 2022
The Redmi Note 13 series we're released in September 2023. That's the reason for older OS.

It came with Android 12 last spring and was only promised 2 OS upgrades and 3 years of security patches. It will therefore get Android 14 and nothing more. I skipped it too because of that.
Note 13 Pro+ sadly comes with old Android 13 but this time it will get 3 OS upgrades and 4 years of security updates, which is much better and it will be one of the first Xiaomi phones to get Hyper OS which will bring the software up to a completely different level 🔝 and get Android 14, 15, 16.
Next time in 2025 I hope Xiaomi could delay the global launch like a couple of months if that's necessary to give Android 15 out of the box. There's no need to hurry a launch with an old OS when Samsung phones are already coming with the latest OS like they're now on Galaxy A15 & A25 and they are already in the shops before Redmi Note series anyway.

Just googled the Redmi Note 13 Pro+ and several top sites that pop up had it as aluminum frame. What is this Gupta or what ever that is more reliable then 10 different pages including xiaomiui.net site that says aluminum frame.

Idk why people are telling this as overpriced phone. It's just perfect for the price. I guess most of the people are calling it overpriced just because they can't afford it, LOL. Just think who tf provides so many features in such a price. Good phone tbh.
