The problem is Nokia wants to be paid rather than enter into a cross-licensing agreement. Probably because they don't actually release any products that rely on the other company's patents.

Only real way they are making money the Qualcomm way after selling their soul to Microsoft. I wonder how licencing work since they, Samsung and Huawei all have 5G patents

Interesting that it says "both companies" - implying cross licensing.
I thought it was Huawei that had some 5G patents; isn't Honor supposed to be completely separate from Huawei now ?
